Applicant Requirements
- Applicant to have a minimum five years of professional hands on experience with all versions of Microsoft Windows server and desktop technologies, with emphasis on server 2003 and 2008 platforms, including, Exchange, ISA, Active Directory, and related Microsoft migration technologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy creation, administration and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of current antivirus technologies, including the deployment, upgrading, and migration to/from Symantec Antivirus and Trend Micro
- Working knowledge of current server-based backup solutions, such as Symantec Backup Exec, Backup Exec System recovery, etc. Knowledge of bare metal restore and disaster recovery procedures a plus
- Basic experience with server and desktop virtualization technologies
- Basic experience with thin-client computing technologies, including Terminal Server, Citrix Server, VMware Virtual Center, etc.
- Working knowledge of standard firewall/routers (Cisco ASA series, SonicWALL, etc.)
- Firm understanding of DNS, IP routing, LAN & WAN technologies
- Current certifications related to the aforementioned platforms a significant benefit.
- Reliable, insured transportation
- Ability to communicate well with clients and prospective clients
- Ability to travel throughout Los Angeles County
- U.S. Citizenship, H1-B Visa or Permanent Resident card (aka, Green card) required
- Clean criminal record
